Threshold Group to Host Car Show and Toy Drive

CHINO, Calif. (November 14, 2016) – Plans for Christmas are already underway at Threshold Aviation Group, who will co-host the 2nd Annual Hope, Love & Charity Car Show & Toy Drive on Saturday, November 19th in conjunction with CGS Performance Products. Toys received and funds raised from the car show and its sponsors and vendors will be distributed at the Hope, Love & Charity Foundation’s 10th Annual Christmas Dinner that provides a Christmas meal and celebration for needy families in the area as identified by the Chino Police Department and the Chino Valley Fire District.

The Car Show & Toy Drive, to be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be a fun and festive event. In addition to the car show, the event features a variety of food booths, live music, vendors, a raffle and various car awards. All attendees are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy or pay an entrance fee of $5. Children 12 years and under are free.

The 10th Annual Hope, Love & Charity event, held just prior to Christmas, serves about 3,000 adults and children each year. Santa is on hand to visit with the children and each child receives toys which in many cases are the only toys they receive. Dozens of bicycles are also distributed to the children. The Christmas meals are served by Threshold Aviation and Volunteers from Chino Police Department, Chino Valley Fire District, several local High Schools as well as several individuals and sponsors.

To raise funds for the Christmas event and to ensure there are enough toys for all the children, Threshold Aviation Group and CGS Performance Products look to contributions of its vendors and sponsors along with the generosity of the community to make the annual Hope, Love & Charity event a success.

“This is the tenth year of holding the Christmas dinner event and with the communities support and assistance, our Hope, Love & Charity Christmas event is a reality for the needy families in the area. We can’t make this happen without the generosity of others and so the 2nd Annual Hope, Love & Charity Car Show & Toy Drive on Saturday, Nov. 19th is a chance to help our community,” says Lisa DiLullo, President at Threshold Aviation Group and the Founder of the Hope, Love & Charity Foundation.

Additional opportunities exist for sponsors and vendors for the Car Show & Toy Drive, including spaces for additional food vendors to participate. Vendors will be asked to donate toys as well as the specified sponsor or vendor fee. All proceeds from the Car Show & Toy Drive will be donated to the Hope, Love & Charity Annual Holiday Event.

The Car Show & Toy Drive will be held at 8352 Kimball Ave., Hangar 3 in Chino.
